In the map MI_Coast, is the pilot npc controlled or player controlled ? Either is fine, but i prefer the pilot to be player controlled. For it would make the game alot more interesting to be stranded from your team, and hiding from enemies whilst communicating their positions via a radio as a pilot/scout. This would be kewl as long as the pilot is not some noob or pest who decides he can take on the enemy by himself and die, failing the mission.

I believe that non-npc independent players, such as '"a crashed chopper pilot", "miss drops (parachutes)" and "cut off players" would add a whole new level of stratergy to your game, making it more challenging and fun. If someone hosts the game online, and a noob ends up being the objective and dies because he thinks he is a one man army, then it's the hosts own fault for hosting a game with noobs because there are plenty of other maps to play.

If the pilot is npc controlled could you think about making clone of the map, and just give it a different prefix, such as MIR_Coast (MOVE IN "RESCUE" _ Coast), and have the npc position a real world player. Also it would be nice to have more than one of these styles of maps. Regards This is what i mean... A chopper is shot down, there is one sole survivor, "The Pilot". The pilot has radioed for immediate evac.

A rescue team is sent in to rescue the surviving pilot.

So u have two different starting locations for the rescuing faction, the pilot spawn, and the rescue team spawn.

The enemy faction divides the rescuing party from the pilot. so the pilot has to make good use of his radio and stealth skills to pass on valuable intel to the rescuing team otherwise game over.
